The genuineness of Euodia rutaecarpa has been discussed here, and then in order to provide a scientific reference for cultivation, Ecological Suitability Evaluation and Regionalization of Euodia rutaecarpa were analyzed.MethodsInvestigating on resources of Fructus Evodiae in 4 consecutive years; Using HPLC method to analysis the concentration of active ingredients Euodiamine, rutaecarpine and Evodine in Fructus Evodiae which harvested in different time, years and derived from different species and areas; Applying RAPD, SRAP, AFLP molecular markers to study the genetic diversity of Euodia rutaecarpa. And then study the genuineness of Euodia rutaecarpa from the view of active ingredient content and genetic diversity. We also take Traditional Chinese Medicine Geographic Information System-â…¡(TCMGIS-â…¡) to find the suitable growth regions of Euodia rutaecarpa. Results(1) Euodia rutaecarpa resources are widely distributed, especially in Jiangxi, Guizhou and Hunan provinces which have the highest output; Harvest time of Euodia rutaecarpa around the productive areas is slightly different, Zhejiang is earlier than other places such as Guangxi and Guizhou.(2) Genetic diversity of Euodia rutaecarpa is in low level overall. Euodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth. var. oficinalis (Dode) Huang is larger in genetic diversity than Euodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth. Populations in Zhejiang province is much more independent, Tongren and Xinhuang have closer genetic distance.(3) Content of Evodiamine, rutaecarpine, Evodine is variation a lot in different stage of maturity, increasing quickly in 2-3 weeks after Flowering, and in a month or so to a high level. The content of active ingredient changes in different years and was largely affected by weather conditions. The active ingredient content of Euodia rutaecarpa var. oficinalis and Euodia rutaecarpa var. bodinieri breeds clear correlation with the productive ares. This may be apparent performance of genuineness. The content of active ingredient of different varieties from the same origin are different, Euodia rutaecarpa var. oficinalis has the highest content followed by Euodia rutaecarpa var. bodinieri.(4) According to suitable growth regions analysis, areas with similarity of 95-100% to the genuineness regions of E. rutaecarpa mainly located in Guizhou and Hunan province. The 90-100% similarity regions have two main distribution areas, one is in southwest China with the center of eastern Guizhou and western Hunan province, the second one is in coastal areas of Zhejiang province. Areas with similarity of 80-100% to the genuineness regions formed an apparent band from east to west.Conclusion(1) Resource reserve of Euodia rutaecarpa are large, but influenced by the market price, although impacted by the low price blow in recent years, still to resume production quickly.(2) Euodia rutaecarpa var. oficinalis and Euodia rutaecarpa var. bodinieri have apparent genuineness. And the genuineness correlated with genetic diversity. Medicine Frutacae Evodia was infuenced by 4 factors, harvesting time, year, species and output areas.(3) Distribution of suitable areas of Euodia rutaecarpa has special character, there are two main concentrating distribution areas, one is Southwest China with the center of Guizhou and Hunan province another one is coastal areas of Zhejiang province.
