For it's good at reducing side effects, Preventing another attack, traditional Chinese medicine has become more and more popular. The TCM industry standard promulgated at 1994 divided AD into two type, this classification is difficult to meet the complex requirements in clinical. At present there is no standardized TCM treatment guidelines, which Hinder the development of Chinese medicine theory and clinical promotion.According to the review of modern studies of TCM syndrome for AD, we found the syndrome differentiation of AD refer to different standards, which cause confusion of syndrome diagnosis and syndrome differentiation, against the development of clinical and scientific research to treat AD by Chinese herb. Now is difficult to meet the Complex clinical situation by using the TCM industry standard,which Cause the differences between clinical practice and theory. Syndrome elements research concentrated on the dialectical system advantages, straightforward, use syndrome elements to unify syndrome name, on one thing, it can reflect the flexibility and complexity of TCM clinical syndrome;to another, it's the breakthrough of traditional Chinese medical syndrome research, and also the research syndrome standardized mature effective method.PurposeThis study in the summary based on the results of the previous study, we studied the standardization of TCM syndrome for AD from syndrome elements and combination angles, made qualitative researches to syndrome elements and their causal relationship by building data base, using data mining methods such as Classification Analysis,Factor analysis, explore the syndrome elements and their combination law, in order to lay the foundations of standardization of syndrome differentiation, provide method and experience.This study is first adopted "the syndrome elements, the disease and syndrome combination" for AD syndromes distribution and syndrome elements in exploratory research. Under the guidance of the spleen and heart related theory in discusses, tentatively set the "atopic dermatitis syndrome elements of the spleen and heart related". In order to provides the methods and experience for simplify atopic dermatitis TCM clinical syndrome differentiation.MethodsIn this study, we mainly explore the TCM clinical syndrome of AD by syndrome elements and their combination law. The research of syndrome elements of AD is divided into the philology learning and the clinical prospective study.1. We collect the articles about AD syndrome type research which published in the past 30 years, analyse the appearing rate of the basic syndrome types of AD from the authors point of view and clinical cases information, and then drew its main key elements.2. Set up a database of clinical symptom from the clinic prospective study, then use data mining methods such as cluster analysis and Factor analysis to explore key element and the relationship with its subordinate symptom. We establish heart syndrome type and spleen syndrome type of Logistic regression equation to get their ROC areas. Carry on comparative analysis of the results of study finally, then we can find the key elements.ResultThe outcomes showed: The heart syndrome type and spleen syndrome type of ROC areas are 0.743 and 0.970 respectively, and the key elements are as, follows:Internal dampness,Qi asthenia, Yin asthenia, internal heat, Endogenous wind, blood dryness,blood asthenia, whichcan be divided into spleen-deficiency and heart-heat. The evolution rule is for this, on the basic of spleen-deficiency, heart-heat appeares in the whole disease process, Hemopenia- wind-dryness appear more in later disease.ConclusionStructuring the new mode of dialectical system of AD with the core of the syndrome element. The research of the key syndrome element and "combined law will bring the study come back to base, this thinking is significant to perfecting the clinical dialectical theory and improving the clinical curative effect. Using database discover knowledge and data mining method such as Multivariate statistical methods is one of the important means to set up the platform of the standardization of dialectical theory of TCM.
