Auricular Points Pressing Treatment Of Primary Dvsmenorrhea Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type Of Clinical Researeh

Purpose:Observation of clinical efficacy of auricular points pressing treatment to treat primary dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type, and providing a seientific basis for its clinical application.Method:Collected 60 cases which diagnosed with Primary dysmenorrhea qi stagnation and blood stasis type of patients, from January 2010 to January 2011 period at the outpatients of Guangdong hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, they were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group 30 cases,30 cases of the control group. The two groups were given acupuncture treatment, subsidiary acupoints in supine position like Guanyuan, Qihai, Diji (both side), Xuehai (both side), Hegu(both side), Taichong(both side), Sanyinjiao(both side), etc; subsidiary acupoints in prone position like Ciliao(both side), Geshu(both side), Ganshu(both side), Shenshu(both side), Diji(both side), Hegu (both side), Sanyinjiao(both side), the primary treatment begins in 7 days before menstruation in supine position,1 time every other day, one mensrual as a treatment period,3 treatment period during the whole treatment.There would be two groups, one is treatment group (Auricular Points Pressing and acupuncture treatment group),the main acupoints include internal genitals, internal secretion, Shenmen, Liver, Kidney, another is control group(acupuncture treatment group), subsidiary acupoint following with the treatment group, meanwhile, plaster-therapy is given the patients by themselves 3-5 times a day,30s for every acupoint,3 treatment period during the whole treatment. pain evaluation forms and Dysmenorrhea weight grading standards are used to evaluating the clinical result. Results:(1)Compared with two groups before treatment, there was no statistical significant differences among age,disease course and disease severity. (2) The overall effects of the treatment group:healed in 12 cases,11 cases markedly effective,5 cases efficient,2 cases invalid and the total efficiency of 93.33 percent; control group cured 5 cases, 8 cases Markedly effective,9 cases efficient,8 cases invalid, and the total efficiency of 80 percent. After the treatment, the treatment group average improvement rate is much better than the control group, the difference is remarkable(P<0.05). (3) After the first treatment, the treatment group average improvement rate is much better than the control group, the statistical difference is remarkable The treatment group Patient Dysmenorrhea symptoms and the symptom integral have the distinct improvement. After the second treatment, the treatment group average improvement rate is much better than the control group, the statistical difference is remarkable The treatment group Patient Dysmenorrhea symptoms and the symptom integral have the distinct improvement. After the second treatment, the treatment group average improvement rate is much better than the control group, the statistical difference is remarkable The treatment group Patient Dysmenorrhea symptoms and the symptom integral have the distinct improvement.Conclusion:This study show that auricular points pressing treatment has significant effect on treating primary dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type, it is worth further study and wide clinical practice.
