ObjectiveTo observe thel effect and safety of Chuanxiongqin, Yinxingdamo injection on acute cerebral infarction of different syndrome, and study its probable mechanism, and explore whether to select different intravenous drugs for Chinese medicine differentiation.MethodsIn accordance with diagnostic criteria of the stroke-in the meridians syndrome,56 cases of qualified patients wer divided into the syndrome of wind-phlegm and blood-stasis, blockade of collaterals, and the syndrome of the heat-phlegm and sthenic-fu, wind-phlegm invading upward. The patients of each syndrome were stratified by infarct location, and then were randomly divided into the chuanxiongqin group and the yinxingdamo group, according to admissions in order. The patients of chuanxiongqin group accepted Chuanxiongqin injection (put this injection into 0.9% normal saline solution or 5% glucose solution 250ml, intravenous drip, once a day). The patients of yinxingdamo group accepted Yinxingdamo injection (put this injection into 0.9% normal saline solution or 5% glucose solution 250ml, intravenous drip, once a day). The treatment of both groups were ten days. Both groups wer treated with modern medicine treatment, without using similar traditional Chinese medicine, we observe and compare their clinical syndromes and the score of nervous function after 10 days.Results1. The total effective rate of chuanxiongqin group was 75.9%, and yinxingdamo group 85.1%. Two groups of effects were not significant different (P>0.05).2. In the type of wind-phlegm and blood-stasis, blockade of collaterals, before and after treatment, the scores of syndrome in TCM is significant difference (P< 0.05) in both chuanxiongqin group and yinxingdamo group. The scores of syndrome in TCM after treatment between chuanxiongqin group and yinxingdamo group shows no significant statistical difference (P>0.05), and their effects (P>0.05).3. In the type of heat-phlegm and sthenic-fu, wind-phlegm invading upward, before and after treatment, the scores of syndrome in TCM is significant difference (P<0.05) in both chuanxiongqin group and yinxingdamo group. The scores of syndrome in TCM after treatment between chuanxiongqin group and yinxingdamo group shows significant statistical difference(P<0.05), and their effects(P<0.05).4. None of adverse reactions was found during treatment in two groups of patients. Before and after treatment, the main indicators of liver and renal function compared with no statistical significance (P>0.05) in both groups.ConclusionBoth chuanxiongqin and yinxingdamo injection can promote recovery of neurological function and improve clinical symptoms in patients with acute cerebral infarction, the overall effect of the two groups showed no significant difference. In the type of wind-phlegm and blood-stasis, blockade of collaterals, there is no significant difference in effect between two groups, In the type of heat-phlegm and sthenic-fu, wind-phlegm invading upward, the improvement of yinxingdamo group is greater comparing with the chuanxiongqin group. This shows that selection of traditional Chinese medicine injections should be on the basis of different syndrome of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Two groups of injections show safe without obvious side-effects.
