Objective To investigate the influential factors of alcohol drinking and to explore the relationship between alcohol behabvior and characteristics of genetics,in order to provide the scientific basis for preventing alcohol related disease prevention. Methods (1) Drinking status of 505 Yugur male were interviewed by psychiatrists with self-repor-ted questionnaire survey, using one-way stratified analysis was employed to probe the rate of alco-hol drinking.and multiple regression analysis was used to determine influential factors of alcohol drinking and alcohol dependence. (2)According to alcohol questionnaire ADS to diagnosis alcohol dependence, compare blood lipid, hepatic function, kidney function.and the distribution of Alcohol dehydrogenase 3 (ADH3) and aldehye dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) gene polymorphism in alcohol dependence group and non-alcohol dependence group.testing gene polymorphism type using the method of polymerase chain reaction (restriction fragment length polymorphism PCR-RFLP).Results The rate of drinking and the incidence of alcohol dependence was 56.83% and 9.90% re-spectively;the result of multiple regression analysis was drinking behavior has independent related factors include family income, marital status, day cigarettes onsumption(positive correlation, P<0.05),age,education levels, health states, professional(negative correlation, P<0.05), And alcohol dependence independent relationship factors include age, economic income, day cigarettes consumption, annual alcohol consumption, marital status(positive correlation,P<0.05), education levels, professional, health states(negative correlation, P0.05), (2) Alcohol consumption was related to blood lipid, hepatic function, kidney function.(3) ALDH2*2 alleles is negatively related to the distribution and alcohol consumption, tand the distribution frequency of ALDH2*1 alleles, ALDH2. ADH3*1 allele, ADH3*2 in Yugur male was 76.82%,33.18%,87.87%.16.13% respectively. Conclusions The rate of drinking in Yugur male and incidence rate of alcohol dependence were higher; Long-term massively drinkers appear dyslipidemia, liver function is unusual symptoms, a Alcohol dehydrogenase 3(ADH3) and aldehyde dehydrogenase 2(ALDH2) gene polymorphism ADH3race specific allele and ALDH2 alleles in the formation of alcohol plays a role in the formation of alcohol. ADH3 and ALDH2 gene polymorphism of the formation of alcohol may have joint action.
