As the representative of osteosarcoma-derived cells, MG-63 cells are paid much attention recently because of their special biological characteristics. It has been such a hot topic for this international cross-field research that the effect of fluid shear stress (FSS) on bone tissues. However, compared with osteoblasts and osteoclasts, fluid shear stress (FSS) on osteosarcoma cells is poorly understood. With measurements of circumference of the nuclear area and nuclear surface area, this study was designed to observe the morphological changes of MG-63 cells under fluid shear stress (FSS) with different intensity and time loaded. Due to the conclusion of results'analysis, it is true that fluid shear stress (FSS) can actually result in morphological changes of MG-63 cells. Therefore, it suggests that Hydrodynamic factor is a potentially important entry point for bone oncology research.
