Objective: To study the inhitory effects of rosuvastatin On VSMC cell and its anti- atherosclerosis machining. To provide a certain theory basis for the treatment of coronary artery heart attack and prevention packing block again narrow. Methods: The concentrations of rosuvastatin used in cell culture system were0,1,2,3,4,5,6μmol/L and 24,48,72hours were selected as the termination point of cell culture.TheVSMC cell were induced by TGF-β1.1 Cell proliferation of rosuvastatin on VSMC cell was determined by MTT assay.2 Cell apoptosis rate were analysed by flow cytometry.3 Apoptosis was detected by morphological examination.4 Data were analyzed by SPSS16.0 Statistics software.Results:1 MTT assay showed that VSMC and TGF-β1 exist together cell to increase and rosuvastatin had a moderate anti-proliferation effect on VSMCs in a time-dependant and dose-dependant manner.2 The results of Flow Cytometry (FCM) represented that the apoptosis rate of VSMCs treated with4μmo/L rosuvastatin for 24h,48h,72h were (14.88±1.46)%,(18.45±0.97)%,(19.21±0.35)%,(P<0.05)。3 The morphologic changes of VSMCs includes apoptotic bodies appearance. Conclusion: rosuvastatin shows obvious inhibitory effects on VSMCs. The effects may be related to induce apoptosis.
