Backgrounds and Objective Except laboratory examine of the urinary system disease, The examine of iconography is the important auxiliary examination.From the last century since the 50 years, X ray intravenous urography technique(IVU)has been the most commonly usedand the maturated technology. With the application of multi-slice spiral CT, computed tomography urography Increasingly used in the diagnosis of urologic disease. 64-slice spiral CT scanning is characterized by its fast, Spatial and temporal resolution images has improved. For a clearer display of urinary system diseases. However, there were still a lot of places worth exploring about contrast agent for the urinary system structure itself and the disease apparent . Therefore, this study utilized improved method of intravenous injection of furosemide and low dose bolus injection of contrast medium graded method in the application value of CTU, to reduce the radiation dose at the same time, improving image quality to further improve its diagnostic performance.Materials and Methods 1.except 60 patients with upper urinary tract disease, Including 31 males and 29 females, age 8 to 72 years, median age 55 years. Before CT examination the subjects received renal ultrasound and renal function tests, except of cysts and calcification, the kidney was no water or other lesions not been done for invasive examination or treatment. Inform patients the methods and inspection purposes, before testing,And obtain patient consent. Randomly divided into two groups, the age group no significant ddifferent, 30 cases of each subject. The first group of intravenous injection of 10mg furosemide, the line split double-bolus injection of contrast medium examination of the CTU, The second group underwent the traditional method of CTU. Before CT scan the two groups were about drink water 750-1000ml. Contrast speed 3mL / s, the amount of 100mL. 2.except 143 patients with upper urinary tract disease, All patients were pathologically confirmed by surgery or surgery confirmed Including 78 males and 65 females, age 8 to 74 years, median age 57 years. Before CT examination the subjects received renal ultrasound and renal function tests, except of cysts and calcification, the kidney was no water or other lesions not been done for invasive examination or treatment. Randomly divided into two groups, the age group no significant ddifferent, 71 cases of group 1, 72 cases of group 2. All date were analyzed by SPSS13.0 statistical software package. Chi-square test and Mann-Whitney rank sum test for two groups of subjects tested, Difference with P<0.05 was considered as significant.Results.1.Improvement CTU of anatomical structures of the urinary system display the average score was 2.53 points, traditional CTU of anatomical structures of the urinary system display the average score was 1.57 points, improvement method CTU and the tradition CTU anatomy of the urinary system exist significant differences(P<0.001). 2.Improvement CTU of continuity of the urinary system display the average score was 4.15 points, traditional CTU of continuity of the urinary system display the average score was 3.50 points, improvement method CTU and the tradition CTU anatomy of the urinary system exist significant differences(P<0.001)3. Urinary inner diameter of each segment of Improvement CTU and tradition CTU, expansion of bilateral ureteral lumen was not statistically significant differences(P>0.05),other expansion of bilateral ureteral lumen has statistically significant differences(P<0.05);4.The CT value of improvement CTU and tradition CTU: Lumen of the segment improved CTU are developing good, CT value of the lumen than the traditional method was significantly reduced.the two groups exist significant differences(P<0.001).5. The improvement method CTU was sig nificantly lower than traditional CTU of radiation. 6.3D volume rendering(VR)images and maximum—intensity—projection(MIP) images have no significant differences in the improvement method.7. Improvement CTU scan using the modified method obtain 71 patients with urinary system diseases are high-quality images than the traditional CTU obtain images from 72 patients were more easy to observe the anatomy of the urinary system and the detection of small lesions.Conclusions Low-dose diuretics and split-bolus 2-phase CTU, make the image more clearly, to more fully display the details,not to missing small lesions, patients also received significantly lower doses of radiation, improvement CTU is significantly better than the tradition CTU.It Is a new type of urinary system diseases and reliable imaging method.
