Research On The Application Of Health Management In Prevention And Control Of Hand-foot-mouth Disease

As a new concept of health services, health management plays a great role in chronic diseases prevention and control. However, its application to infectious diseases is still insufficient, which leads to a mismatch between health management and infectious diseases prevention. Hand-foot-mouth disease is predominantly a highly contagious childhood disease which has complex route of transmission and great epidemic strength. In recent years, the trend of epidemic situation becomes more critical. The disease seriously harms the health of nursling, yet there is no effective vaccine or specific drug. With the concept of health management, the paper tries to find how to carry out prevention and control of Hand-foot-mouth disease, explore effective health management system for Hand-foot-mouth disease, in order to reduce morbidity and mortality of Hand-foot-mouth disease, lower health care costs, improve nation health conditions. Meanwhile, the paper also has an important reference to the health management of other infectious diseases.The research is divided into four parts:The first part is to introduce epidemiological distribution of Hand-foot-mouth disease, analyze its hazards from the current epidemic situation and disease burden, and also summary the risk factors for Hand-foot-mouth disease.The second part focuses on the status of Hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and provides some cases. Based on review of the achievements and shortcomings in Hand-foot-mouth disease prevention, it tells necessity of application of health management to Hand-foot-mouth disease prevention by case study. The third part describes the concept of health management and its value to Hand-foot-mouth disease prevention and control. It provides an overview of the development of health management describes the concept of health management, presents the status of health management and its significance. Also proceeding from our national conditions, this part analyzes the significance and feasibility of Hand-foot-mouth disease health management.The fourth part discusses the construction of health management system for Hand-foot-mouth disease. This part analyzes the role of community health service organizations in the prevention and control of infectious diseases. With the combination of above three parts and children health management, the paper tries to construct community health management system for Hand-foot-mouth disease, and provide recommendations.
