The Research Of Detection Rate Of Prostate Cancer With Biopsy By Transrectal Contrast Enhancement Ultrasound

Objective To compare the detection rate of prostate cancer between transrectal contrast enhancement ultrasonography (TRCEUS) targeted biopsy and systematic biopsy simply and solely(8 needles),to discuss if TRCEUS targeted biopsy improves the detection rate of prostate cancer.Methods 90 patients were enrolled by the research,whose PSA's level or Transrectal Ultrasonography(TRUS)'s result were abnormal.All of them were firstly examined by TRUS routinely,then were given examination of TRCEUS.According to the examination results,the high-enhanced lesions were punctured firstly then other parts were given Classic 8-cores biopsy.Pathologic results were acquired and analyzed.Then after, with Qontrast 4.0,contrast parameters of benign and malignant lesions were measured and compared.Results 31 of 90 patients were demostrated as cancer pathologicly,among of these,21of 31 patients were determined by method of TRUS,and 25 of 31 patiets were determined by TRCEUS.15 of 31 patients were determined by both methods.The TRUS group's sensitivity,specificity, accuracy,Positive Predictive Value(PPV),Negative Predictive Value(NPV) are 67.75%,64.4%,65.6%,84%,58.5%respectively and the TRCEUS group are 80.6%,93%,88.9%,89.3%,88.7%.The intensity of enhancement in the lesions were of increased,equal,decreased,no compared to surrounding tissue in 25,4,2,0 in prostate cancer and 3,47,7,2 in benign disease,the difference was statistically(P<0.05). With Qontrast software, PEAK%,RBV,RBF between benign and malignant lesions are different, the difference was statistically(P<0.05).Conclusion:Prostate biopsy guided by TRCEUS has a great improvement in detection rate of prostate cancer,which showed high enhancement generally and had a difference in PEAK%,RBF,RBV compared with benign lesion.
