Objective:To observe the curative efficacy of TCM massage of Syndrome differentiation treatment for knee osteoarthritis patients. Method:The 80 cases of knee osteoarthritis patients were randomly divided into test group and control group,40 patients in each group, Test group by TCM syndrome in patients with different syndromes after the massage therapy to be dialectical; control patients to present commonly used in clinical massage therapy. Before treatment, after treatmentl,2weeks, The symptoms, signs and systemic symptom scores of both group patients were assessed. Results:(1)2weeks after treatment, compared two groups of patients show the total effect of the test group, the total effective was 95%,total effective rate of 75%,in the control group, the total effective was 92.5%,50% of the total effective rate, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);(2)Compared two groups of patients before treatment,1,2 weeks after the symptoms and signs, systemic symptom total score, the difference was significant (P<0.05);(3) Individual symptoms of the two groups were compared, only bed rest at night when the pain or discomfort, from pain or discomfort when sitting standing, squatting or bending the knee, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(4)Signs of the two groups were compared, only the knee weeks tenderness, range of motion, joint swelling, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Conclusion:Compared to the current commonly used in clinical massage therapy, TCM massage therapy is a more effective treatment for knee osteoarthritis massage therapy, especially,in improving bed rest at night when the pain or discomfort, from pain or discomfort when sitting standing, knee weeks tenderness, range of motion Etc., effect becomes more apparent.
