Objective:To investigate the correlation of the polymorphisms of DNA repair gene XRCCl (rs1799782,rs3810378 and rs25487)with clinicopathologic characteristics of Han and Uygur Female Patient with breast cancer. Methods:According to Snapshot, The polymorphisms of XRCCl rsl799782, rs3810378 and rs25487 were detected in 302 Chinese women with primary breast cancer. Results:The distribution of polymorphism of rsl799782 is differential between Uygur with Han nationality in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The Uygur Patients with wild homozygous genotypes are more likely than the Han patients; however, heterozygous genotypes in Han is more likely than Uygur nationality both case group and control group, the difference is significant (P=0.009;P=0.001).The distribution of polymorphism of rs3810378,rs25487 are not differential between case and control in Uygur and Han nationality (P>0.05). the distribution of tumor size, axillary lymph node involvement and clinical stage among rsl 799782 genotypes of Uygur patient with breast cancer are statistically significant(P=0.024; P=0.015; P=0.042).And the Pearsonx2test further calculation shows that there is a moderate correlation between primary tumor size, axillary lymph nodes situation and clinical stage with the polymorphism of XRCCl gene rsl799782 of Uygur patients with breast cancer(r=0.585;r=633; r=0.525). however, the polymorphisms of rs3810378, rs25487 are not significantly associated with pathologic types, clinical stage, tumor size,axillary lymph nodes situation, estrogen receptor status, progesterone receptor, Her-2 et al. (P>0.05).Conclusions:The distribution of polymorphism of rsl799782 is differential between Uygur with Han nationality. The polymorphism of rsl799782 of Uygur patients with breast cancer is associated with bigger tumor size, axillary lymph notes metastasis and the high clinical stage, indicate that patients carrying XRCCl rsl799782 C allele (include CC, CT genotypes) may have an unfavorable clinical outcome.
