Objective:To explore health—re1ated quality of 1ife and analyze associated factors in PTSD patients in military first responders after WenChuan earthquake in China,hence provide theoretical basis for improving patients quality 0f life.Methods:SF-36 Chinese Edition was used to carry out the survey flace—to—face in 63 patients and 997 healthy controls。Two—sample t test was used to compare scores of the quality of life between two groups and analysis the general factors on the impact of quality of life of PTSD patients,Pearson correlation test was used to analysis the scores of BAI,BDI,EES,DTS and three factor scores of DTS on the impact of quality of life of PTSD patients ,multiple step—wise regression was used to screen factors associated with quality of life in PTSD patients group。Results:1,the comparison of quality of life in PTSD patients and healthy controls: PTSD group scored significantly 1ower than that in the control group including physical functioning[(82.94±24.86) vs. (89.97±16.91);t=-2.21,P=0.030],role-physical[(48.81±23.73) vs. (79.71±34.14);t=-6.97,P=0.000],bodily pain[(61.56±19.60) vs. (79.71±34.14);t=-5.83,P=0.000],vitality[(52.30±19.98) vs. (67.95±18.25);t=-6.56,P=0.000],social functioning[(75.20±19.90) vs. (87.32±15.67);t=-5.85,P=0.000],role—emotional[(52.38±41.79) vs. (77.21±33.31);t=-4.62,P=0.000], mental health[(64.38±18.30) vs. (76.67±16.18);t=-5.20,P=0.000],Physical Component Summary[(57.71±11.89) vs. (67.98±12.09);t=-6.54,P=0.000],Mental Component Summary[(61.07±17.26) vs. (61.07±17.26);t=-7.99,P=0.000]and the total core of SF-36[(59.38±11.87) vs. (72.64±11.75);t=-8.76,P=0.000];but significantly higher in general health perceptions[(37.5±19.9) vs. (25.0±19.5);t=4.95,P=0.000];2,the factors of the total score and the some dimensions of quality of life in PTSD patients with single-factor analysis:the level of service satifaction,the child,the psychological intervention in trauma exposure phase,the total score of DTS,the score of reexperiencing factor of DTS,the score of hypervigilance factor of DTS,the score of EES,Beck depression scale score,Beck Anxiety Scale score3,the result of multiple step—wise regression :Factors associated with Physical Component Summary core and the total core of SF-36 were reexperiencing factor and the level of service satifaction;Factors associated with Mental Component Summary score was only the score of Earthquake Experiences scale。Conclusions:PTSD patients had poor quality of life relative to healthy controls,the quality of life for PTSD patients suffered may be improved by intervening the trauma reexperiencing and the level of service satifaction。...
