Objective:To investigate and evaluate the validity and repeatability of follicle-stimulating decoction for curing ovulatory infertility. What matters all followed guidelines for clinical research, with regulated and recognized diagnostic criteria and curative effect evaluation standard. It provided a standard, effective and feasible treatment method and scientific basis for clinical treatment of ovulatory infertility.Method:Selecting 60 patients with ovulatory infertility,30 cases were divided into the treatment group and control group 30 cases with the principle of random and control. The TCM treatment group was supplied with Chinese traditional medicine follicle-stimulating decoction, while the control group using HCG with clomiphene citrate treatment. Ovulation rate, the pregnancy rate, the improved relevant clinical symptoms, the fundamental temperature changes and sex hormones served as observing indexes when comparison between groups and before and after the treatment of self-control were implemented. The outcome was divided into four levels:cure, markedly improvement, efficiency, invalidity. Results:In Chinese medicine treatment group about 30 patients, TCM syndromes clinical recovery was 22 cases,4 cases markedly improved,2 cases effective and 2 case ineffective, with the total effective rate of 93.3%. The control group of 30 patients syndromes got clinical cure 10 cases,2 cases markedly improved,3 cases effective,15'case invalid, and effective percentage was 50.0%. The total effective rate of the two groups with an important difference(p<0.01). The pregnancy rate of the control group was 53.3% while the treatment group was 26.7%(P<0.05). The ovulation rate of the control was 87.8% while the treatment group was 42.2%(P<0.01). TCM Treatment group had superiority over western medicine control group in the pregnancy rate, ovulation rate and total therapeutic effect, et al.Conclusions:Through this study, it could conclude that follicle-stimulating decoction had a good effect in kidney deficiency ovulatory infertility. There were lots of advantages than the commonly used medicine clomiphene in ovulation rate, pregnancy rate and miscarriage rate.
