The Clinical Observation Of Nephrotic Syndrome And The Influence Of Serum IL-8 And IL-13 By Modified Fangji And Astragalus Decoction

Objective:To observe the clinic curative effect of the adult PNS and the influence of serum IL-8 and IL-13 by Modified Fangji and Astragalus Decoction. Method:60 patients met the standard of adult PNS were randomly assigned to the treatment group and control group.30 patients in control group were given basic treatment (WM hormone and symptomatic treatment),30 patients in treatment group were given basic treatment combined with Modified Fangji and Astragalus variation Decoction, oral for 8 weeks. We evaluate the index of these two groups before and after the treatment. The index include TCM syndrome, edema subsided days, urinal protein of 24h, plasma-albumin, blood fat and renal function. We can test the serum IL-8 and IL-13 before and after the treatment used the method of Double-antibody-sandwich ELISA, then compare the two groups and compared with the normal one.Results:The treatment group is better than the control group in the field of clinical illness curative effect and TCM symptom curative effect (P<0.05). For the TCM symptom, the two groups both get good improve (P<0.01), but the treatment group is better (p<0.05). The treatment group has less days than the control one in the subsiding of the dropsy (p<0.05). The two groups can reduce urinal protein of 24h, can increase the plasma-albumin, can lower CHO, TG, BUN, UA, and the treatment group is better too(P<0.05). That the two groups lower the serum creatinine has no significant difference (p>0.05). And the adverse effect of hormone is more in the control group. Before or after the treatment, IL-8 and IL-13 is higher than the normal (p<0.05). On the other hand, after treatment the IL-8 both decrease and the IL-13 both increase in the two groups, and there has difference between the two groups(p<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Fangji and Astragalus variation Decoction with hormone treatment is better than simple western medical therapy for adult PNS.Modified Fangji and Astragalus Decoction can facilitate the subsiding of the dropsy, improve the TCM symptom, decrease the urinal protein, increase the plasma-albumin, can adjust the blood fat and the role of serum IL-8 and IL-13 and alleviate the adverse effect of hormone.
