Clinical Application Of Anhydrous Alcohol Sclerotherapy Combined With Sanjie Zhentong Capsule For Ovarian Endometrial Cysts

Objective:To investigate the efficiency and safety of the treatment protocols of CT Guided anhydrous alcohol sclerotherapy combined with Sanjie Zhentong Capsule for ovarian endometrial cysts.Materials and Methods:All patients proven ovarian endometrial cyst were punctured and fluid aspirated under CT guidance. If liquid is too sticky, saline was used washing dilution repeatedly. Then anhydrous alcohol was injected in with the volume of 25％～30％of the cyst fluid, stay out after 10～15 minutes. The cyst more than 6cm diameters can use plastic extension tube or guide catheter with guide wire to reduce needle shake and operators's labor intensity, and easily fixed. All selected cases met inclusion criteria were divided into cure group and control group at random,15 cases each. The cure group were performed by anhydrous alcohol combined with Sanjie Zhentong Capsule, each 4 capsules,3 times a day for 12 months. The control group were treated only with anhydrous alcohol. All patients were followed up for 12 months. The size of cyst, recurrence rate and dysmenorrhea score were observed. Software SPSS1 3.0 was used to statistic all data. Independent sample t-test was used for cyst size and dysmenorrhea score, chi-square test was used for recurrence rate.Results:There's no significant difference between the two groups before operation in the cyst's size. There were significant differences in two groups of cyst size about 6 months and 12 months after operative respectively compare with preoperative, which demonstrate the effectiveness of the sclerotherapy.12 months after operative, the size between two groups have statistical significance. The size after operative 6 months compare with 12 months in the cure group have statistical significance, but have no difference significance in control group. Indicated that the cyst consolidate treatment in cure group was better than control group. The recurrence rate after 6 months in the cure group was 20.0%, the control group was 46.7%; 13.3% in cure group after 12 months,66.7% in the control group. Postoperative recurrence rate in control group is higher than cure group. Before operative, two groups have no statistical significance in dysmenorrhea score. Two groups after operative of 6 months,12 months have significant difference compare with preoperative. Statistical significance was found between two groups. The treatment group scheme in improves dysmenorrhea score and the long-term outcome are better than the control groupConclusion:The results showed that the treatment of anhydrous alcohol sclerotherapy combined with Sanjie Zhentong Capsule was better than intervention sclerosis operative in the control of recurrence rate and it is meaningfull for consolidating. Contrast pure sclerosis treatment, After hardening operative treat with Sanjie Zhentong Capsule can relieve dysmenorrhea symptoms, the long-term curative effect of dysmenorrhea are more obvious advantages. This method is safe, effective and deserve to application. The limits was less cases inluded, so that further study should practice.
