Objective:To Investigate the therapeutic effect of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy and surgical intervention in mental health and physical health of patients with sequelae of earthquake crush injury, searching the best measures to improve the quality of life of patients with sequelae of crush injury.Method:Treated the patients met the inclusion criteria with comprehensive rehabilitation therapy, which was composed of physical therapy, exercise therapy, occupational therapy, psychological therapy, prosthetics and orthopedic appliance, rehabilitation of traditional Chinese medicine therapy. According to the severity and different injury sites of each patient, selected different combination of rehabilitation therapy, and assessed all cases after 6 weeks of treatment. According to the rehabilitation effects, all subjects were divided into non-surgical intervention group and the surgical intervention group, provided comprehensive rehabilitation programs and treatment of surgical intervention.90 injured patients who were treated have been followed up by using SF-36 scale for 6 to 12 months, observed the recovery of limb function and condition changes in the recovery process. Assessed improvement of physical health and mental health of patients at different periods after treatment. All date were statistically processed by statistical software SPSS 17.0. All follow-up data were meant by mean±standard deviation (x±s), the graded results of SF-36 scale, which were scaled respectively before treatment, at 6 months after treatment and 12 months after treatment, were compared using analysis of variance, the data of different period were used pair-wise comparisons, when P<0.05, it was indicates that the difference was statistically significant. Results:At 6 months and 12 months after treatment,90 patients were followed up with SF-36 questionnaire, more than 95% of those had achieved satisfactory therapeutic effects, limb sensory and athletics function had been improved significantly, only 2 patients'stump pain with leg stump neuroma were not significantly improved after treatment, and 1 younger patient with flexor deformity whose symptoms repeated six months after treatment. In the effective cases, the patient's physiological health (physiological function, physiological functions, bodily pain, general health) and psychological health (general health, vitality, social function, emotional function, mental health) scores were significantly improved, daily ability of life and work both returned to normal. The graded results of SF-36 scale of 90 patients before treatment, after 6 months, and 12 months after treatment were compared, the scores of 6 months after treatment were significantly improved compared with that of before treatment, the scores of 12 months after treatment were significantly improved compared with that of 6 months after treatment, three graded results were analyzed by analysis of variance, in which P<0.05, and pair-wise comparisons between the three groups of data were significantly different, in which P were both P<0.05.Conclusion:Because of the special nature of earthquake injury, different degrees of limb dysfunction may be left after crush injuries, which affect the patient's mental health and physical health, so it is should to pay attention to observing limb function of the injured for long-term follow-up, and then understand the psychological diseases; the effects of the patients of sequelae of crush injury treated with comprehensive rehabilitation therapy and necessary surgical intervention is significant, these therapies can significantly improve the patient's physiological health and psychological health, improve the quality of life of patients, so that patients can return to normal life and work as soon as possible.
