Objective:To observe the clinical effect and safty of the zhenxindan for the treatment of ventricular premature contractions (syndrome of timidity due to deficiency of heart qi). Methods:To collect the 68 patients who meet the diagnostic criteria in patients with ventricular premature contractions and belong to syndrome of timidity due to deficiency of heart qi from the Cheng Du University of TCM affiliated hospital's cardiological out-patient and in-patient departments. Which 34 cases were randomly selected into the treatment group; the remaining 34 cases were randomly selected into the control group。There were 68 patients in each group without significant difference in Sex,Age,basic diseases and the time of the disease between two groups (P>0.05). The treatment group was treated with Zhenxindan, take 100ml each time, take 3 times a day. The control group was treated with Mexiletine Hydrochloride Table, take 150mg each time, take 3 times a day. The course of treatment was 4 weeks. Respectively before and after treatment, compare the effect between on clinical symptoms, the number and the classification of ventricular premature contractions. Observing the effection of the three conventional, liver and renal function before and after treatment, that makes sure of the safety of the Chinese medicine. Using statistical software SPSS 17.0 statistical analysis, it has clinical significance when P <0.05.Results:l.The general effect, the number and the classification of ventricular premature contractions have no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05).2. There was significant difference between the two groups in syndrome of the traditional chinese medicine(P<0.05).The markedly effective rate is 76.47% and the general effective rate is 91.18% in the experimental group with Zhenxindan. In the control group with Mexiletine Hydrochloride correspondingly there are 44.12%,70.59%.3.After the treatment, the effect of individual symptoms and total score of TCM has significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05), the experimental group curative effect surpasses the control group.4.There was no difference before and after the experimental group of the three conventional, liver, renal function. Conclusion:The Zhenxindan in clinical use is safe and have better clinical effect for syndrome of timidity due to deficiency of heart qi group in the treatment of ventricular premature contractions。...
