The Correlation Study Of IL-2, IL-13 And Different TCM Sydrome Of Insufficiency Of Lung-QI And Lung Meridian Latent Pyrexia | | Posted on:2012-09-18 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:H Hu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2154330335977587 | Subject:Medicine facial scientific | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:To explore the effect of interleukin-2(IL-2) and interleukin-13(IL-13) in allergic rhinitis(AR) and to provied evidences for AR and its typing in TCM.Data and methods:According to the standards of Lanzhou and differentiation of symptoms and sings in TCM, fifty-five cases with AR were selected,inclding 20 males and 35 females. The patients'average age was(34.23±1.657) years, including 28 cases of insufficiency of lung-QI,27 cases of lung meridian latent pyrexia. The normal control group contained twenty-nine people (11 males and 18 females), whose average age was(30.79±2.106) years. The levels of IL-2 and IL-13 in peripheral blood of the research object were measured with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Then data in groups were analysed.Results:①It showed that the local signs of the tow TCM symtom types were different. The group of insufficiency of lung-QI had the severe appearance of nasal mucosal edema. And the nasal mucosa of the group with lung meridian latent pyrexia was much more red than the other, the differenes had statistical significance(P<0.05).②The level of IL-13 in the tow experimental groups was increased significantly compared with the nomal control(P<0.05) However. there was no statistical significance between the two experimental groups(P>0.05). And the level of IL-2 decreased significantly in the patients groups compared with the nomal control(P<0.05). And the level of IL-2 in the group of lung meridian latent pyrexia was decreased significantly compared with the insufficiency of lung-QI group(P<0.05).The ratio of IL-2 and IL-13(IL-2/IL-13) decreased significantly in the patients groups compared with the nomal control(P<0.05).In which the level of the lung meridian latent pyrexia group was the lowest. and the differenes between the two Syndrome Type of TCM had statistical significance(P<0.05).③The level of IL-2 was positive Correlated to the degree of nasal mucosa edema(r= 0.482, P<0.01) and negative Correlated to the red colour of nasal mucosa (r=-0.518, P<0.01)Conclusion:The changes of IL-13 and IL-2 in plasma participate in the morbidity of AR.
