Effects Of Moxibustion On The Levels Of Serum T And E2 Associated With Erectile Function In Rats With Diabetic Erectile Dysfunction

Objective:To study the effect of moxibustion on erectile function,the levels of serum T and E2 in Rats with Diabetic erectile dysfunction.Method:Male Sprague-Dawley rats with normal erectile function were injected with streptozotozin(STZ) to make experimental models of Diabetes Mellitus(DM). Then apomorphine(APO) was injected into all of the DM rats to select ED rats models with DM. The normal rats was in the blank group and the ED rats were randomly divided into the model group and the moxibustion group. The model group was not being treated while the model-moxibustion group was treated with moxibustion on acupoints "Shenshu"(BL23) and "Sanyinjiao"(SP6) by treatment.110 Male Sprague-Dawley rats with normal Erectile function were injected with streptozotozin (STZ) to make experimental models of diabetes mellitus(DM). then injected with apomorphine in all of the DM rats to select erectile dysfunction rats models with diabetes. The normal 10 rats is the Normal group, the ED rats were devided into Model group and Moxibustion group in random.The Moxibustion group received Moxibustion on acupoint "Shenshu" (BL23) and "Sanyinjiao"(SP6). Examine the change of Erectile of the three groups after the treatment. ELISA was employed to detect the effect of Moxibustion on the T and E2 in the serum levels of rats.Results:1.The model-moxibustion group and the model group compared with the blank group,the number of erection animals,the total number of erections,the rate of erection were lower than the blank group (P <0.01);The model-moxibustion group compared with the model group, the number of erection animals, the total number of erections,the rate of erection was higher than the model group(P<0.01).2.The model-moxibustion group and the model group compared with the blank group, the level of T in the serum was significantly decreased(P <0.01);The model-moxibustion group compared with the model group, the level of T in the serum was significantly increased(P<0.01).3.The model-moxibustion group and the model group compared with the blank group, the level of E2 in the serum was significantly increased(P <0.01);The model-moxibustion group compared with the model group, the level of E2 in the serum was decreased (P<0.01).Conclusion:The results show that moxibustion can increase the level of serum T and decrease the level of serum E2 to improve the Erectile function of Rats with Diabetic erectile dysfunction.
