Aging Factor Effects The Expression Of Ngb In Rats Testis

Objective:to investigate the distribution and expression variation of neuroglobin(NGB) in rats testicular tissue of different ages.Methods:3 monthes, 9 monthes and 15 monthes old male S-D rats were chosen at random, 8 of each group age. All the rats testicular tissue were sacrificed at the condition of asepsis. The testis was harvested for detecting the distribution and expression of NGB by means of immunohitochemistry SP, nested-PCR and western-blot.Results:The immunohitochemistry showed that NGB was positive in interstitial cell, spermatogonium cells, spermatocyte, sertoli and sperm cells. Nested-PCR showed that NGB mRNA was highest in 9- month group, lower in 15- month group, while lowest in 3- month group. Further, Western-blot showed the same differences.Conclusion:NGB has a wide distribution in rats'testicular tissue and displays a difference affected by age.
