Objective: To investigate the anatomy of the proximal straight sinus CT angiography performance.Methods: The 50 healthy subjects receiving head CT, head and neck CT angiography (CTA) examination. Observe the normal straight sinus, inferior sagittal sinus and great cerebral vein,meeting One form of straight sinus. And the straight sinus, great cerebral vein and the length of the superior sagittal sinus, straight sinus diameter of import.Results:①Form straight sinus gradually widened from the front to rear, form a triangle, and triangular range. The longest straight sinus is 72.2mm, minimum is 31.0mm, the average is 50.18±7.35mm; its widest diameter is 16.6mm, minimum is 3.1mm, an average of 7.19±2.21mm.②Inferior sagittal sinus maximum 78.3mm, the shortest is 50.3mm, the average is 74.60±13.40mm; its widest diameter of 3.51mm, minimum is 1.99mm, an average of 3.02±0.48mm.③The longest great cerebral vein is 10.33mm, the shortest is 6.35mm, an average of 8.96±3.51mm; its diameter size, the width of 4.66mm, minimum is 2.10mm, an average of 4.28±1.22mm.Conclusion: CTA can be completely, fully and effectively shows the structure of straight sinus and related anatomical characteristics of living, is to show the ideal straight sinus imaging lesions, straight for the clinical diagnosis of sinus disease to provide the basisPART 2 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANATOMIC STRUCTURES OF THE STRAIT SINUS PROXIMAL END AND CHRONIC HYDROCEPHALUS WITH CT ANGIOGRAPHYObjective:To explore the dependability between the morphologic features of the proximal strait sinus and chronic hydrocephalus with CT angiography(CTA).Methods : Thirty patients with chronic hydrocephalus(chronic hydrocephalus group) and 50 normal subjects(normal group) underwent cephalocervical CTA and cephalic CT scanning. Anatomic characteristics of the proximal straight sinus images,including its confluence site with the great cerebral vein, the top of straight sinus,the inferior sagittal sinus were compared between chronic hydrocephalus group and normal group.Results:①The morphous of the straight sinus top and the inferior sagittal sinus in chronic hydrocephalus group were not different from the normal group,and the great cerebral vein abouchement sinus rectus typeⅠwas more than normal group obviously.②Compared to normal group,the great cerebral vein, the inferior sagittal sinus length and the abouchement caliber of the chronic hydrocephalus group were obviously less in chronic hydrocephalus groups.Conclusions :Measuring the length and the caliber of the straight sinus proximal, the great cerebral vein and the inferior sagittal sinus by CT imaging technology is meaningful to the clinical diagnosis.
