| Objective:To investigate the clinical manifestations and related inspection in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with gastrointestinal vasculitis inorder to improve the understanding of the disease. Methods:Analyzing the clinical, laboratory, imaging, endoscopic, pathology and treatment data of 30 SLE patients with gastrointestinal vasculitis hospitalized from 2005.6 to 2011.3 retrospectively. Results:Gastrointestinal vasculitis of SLE includes acute gastroenteritis (33.3%),chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction,acute peritonitis, mesenteric vasculitis, acute pancreatitis, upper gastrointestinal bleeding and protein-losing enteropathy. The clinical manifesta -tions includes 19 cases nausea/vomiting (63.3%),18 cases abdominal pain(60.0%),12 cases abdominal distension (40.0%),8 cases diarrhea (26.7%),and may be associated with other systems involvement such as blood cells reduce, arthritis, serous inflamma-tion,Raynaud's phenomenon, albuminuria.Abdominal ultrasonic imaging showed 15 cases ascites,6 cases of edema and thick in gallbladder wall with B-sonography.7 cases abdominal X-ray showed gas-liquid flat.13 cases ascites,9 cases bowel wall thickening of different extent in abdominal CT,1 case showed "double halo",3 cases mesenteric swelling thickening,1 case with bilateral renal pelvis and ureteral expansion. One patient's abdominal CTA showed "target sign",one's abdominal MRI showed mesenteric vascular multiple lesions.Radiological examination have relatively clear gastrointestinal vasculitis evidence. Most of the gastrointestinal vasculitis in SLE occurs during the stable or mild activity condition.Hormone and immunosuppressant are effective. Conclusion:Gastrointestinal vasculitis in SLE is common, the clinical manifestations are vari ous, which may occurs during the stable or mild activity condition in SLE,so it is easy to be misdiagnosed.Radiological examination is significant for the diagnosis in gastroin-testinal vasculitis. |
