Methods:Breast cancer specimens were collected from 47 patients who underwent operation and FNB in the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University during Jan.2004 to Oct.2009. The expression of ERCC1.BRCA1 and Ki-67 in the breast cancer tissue were determined by immunohistochemical staining. Results:There was no difference between tumor size, histologic grade, patient's age, cancer type expression of ER or PR and pathologic response of CEF neoadjuvant chemotherapy(P>0.05); The chemotherapy efficiency for ERCC1-responser was lower than ERCCl-nonrespomser (11.1% vs 41.4% P<0.05), the chemotherapy efficiency for BRCA1-responser was lower than BRCAl-norespomser (33.3% vs 37.9% P>0.05);There was stastical difference in expression of ERCC1 between prechemotherpy and postchemotherpy (31.7% vs 58.5% P>0.05), but there was not statistical difference in expression of BRCA1 between prechemotherpy and postchemotherpy(36.6% vs 46.3% P>0.05); Positive rate of Ki-67 in effective group and noneffective group is 77.8%,44.8% respctively and there was statistical difference (P<0.05), There was stastical difference in expression of Ki-67 between prechemotherpy and postchemotherpy(56.09%vs31.70%, P<0.05);The expression of ERCC 1 was not correlative with BRCA1 in 47 patients1 preoperative tissue (P>0.05). Conclusion:Pathologic response of CEF neoadjuvant chemotherapy was not influenced by clinical pathological features, to some extent, it upregulated expression of ERCC1, which can offer some reference for sussessive chemotherapy after operation, The high expression of Ki-67 implied the better sensitivity to CEF neoadjuvant chemotherapy, which should be considered in clinical therpy. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | ERCC1, BRCA1, Ki-67, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, immunohis-tochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
