Objective:To compare the vascularization of a complex of scaffold/rhBMP-2 and a single scaffold both implanted in beagle dogs and wrapped by pedicled deep fasica flaps. Methods: Twelve healthy adult beagle dogs were respectively implanted with complex of scaffold /rhBMP-2 in left thigh (experimental sides) and a single scaffold in right thigh (control sides). The vascularization in each condition was assessed by experiment study (Physical, Masson stain, HE stain,â…§RAg marked) at time intervals of 2,4,8 and 16 weeks after operation. Results:In experimental groups and in control groups, vascularization was found. New vascular invaded in scaffold with following the time. In experimental groups, the amount of vessels and the expression ofâ…§RAg were more stronger than there in control group at 2-8 weeks. Conclusion:The pedicled deep fasica flaps have great effect on the vascularization. The effect of the pedicled deep fasica flap is proved to be the better in vascularization and of rhBMP-2/scaffold.
