Objective:The aim of this study is to improve physical work capacity of the heart and blood circulation of the patients, to reduce the risk factors of coronary heart disease and further affecting the development of coronary heart disease and improving the quality of life of the patients by observing and analyzing the effect of aerobic exercise on the patients with coronary heart disease. Methods:According to cluster random sampling method, the patients with coronary heart disease during the treatment from 4 of 14 streets around the Shanghai Baoshan health center were selected . 78 patients of them were finally left according to the principle of voluntary participation and signed informed consent. They were divided into control group and experimental group.Experimental group were asked to take a 6-month walking exercise but keep the other lifestyle and habits. The subjects were on a questionnaire survey before and after the experiment and height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, fasting glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, LDL, resting stroke volume, ejection fraction, left ventricular shortening fraction and other clinical Indicators were measured.Results:1.The effect of walking exercise on cardiac function:There was no significant difference in the resting heart rate, stroke volume, ejection fraction, left ventricular percent fractional shortening, systolic blood pressure within and between groups before and after the experiment(P> 0.05). There was no significant difference in the diastolic blood pressure between the two groups before and after the experiment(P> 0.05), but the diastolic blood pressure of control group(P <0.01) and experimental group (P <0.05) showed significantly decrease after the experiment.2.The effect of walking exercise on blood sugar, blood fat:There was no significant difference in the fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein within and between the two groups before and after the experiment(P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the triglyceride between the two group(P>0.05) and within the experimental group, but the triglyceride of control group showed significant decrease after the experiment(P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the low-density lipoprotein between the two group(P>0.05), but the low-density lipoprotein of the two groups showed significantly decrease after the experiment(P<0.05).3. The effect of walking exercise on waistline, hip circumference:There was no significant difference in the waistline between the two groups and within control group before and after the experiment(P>0.05), but the waist circumference of experimental group showed significantly decrease after the experiment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the hip circumference between and within the two groups before and after the experiment(P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the Waist-hip Ratio between and within the two groups before and after the experiment(P>0.05).4. The effect of walking exercise on quality of patients'life: The score of Physical Functioning of the experimental and control groups increased before and after the experiment and there was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05) but significant difference within the two groups(P< 0.01).The score of Role Physica1 of the experimental group has increased after the experiment, but the control group's has decreased, There was no significant difference within the two groups (P> 0.05),but significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The Role Emotiona1 score of the experimental group showed significant increase after the experiment(P<0.01) but there was no significant difference between and within control group before and after the experiment(P>0.05).There is no significant difference in the scores of the Social Functioning between and within the two groups before and after the experiment (P> 0.05).The Bodily Pain score of the two groups after the experiment has increased. There showed no significant difference between the two groups and within control group(P> 0.05) but significant difference within experimental groups(P <0.05).The score of Vitality of the two groups has increased after the experiment and there was no significant difference within the control group (P>0.05), but there was significant difference between(P <0.05) and within(P <0.01) the experiment group. The score of Mental Health showed significant increase within and between the the experiment group before and after the experiment(P <0.01). The score of mental health showed significant decrease between the control group before and after the experiment(P <0.01) but no significant difference within the control group(P> 0.05).There is no significant difference in the General Health score between and within the two groups before and after the experiment (P> 0.05).In the term of subjective feeling of Health Transition changes, The percentage of the experiment group was higher than that of the control group. The percentage of the patients who felt worse or much worse than one year ago from the experiment was lower than that of the control group, and there was significant difference between(P <0.05) the two groups.Conclusions:1. 6-month walking experiment takes no obvious improvement on ardiac function, blood pressure, blood sugar and blood fat.2. 6-month walking experiment significantly improves the patients'waist circumference. Aerobic exercise can improve the body shape of patients with stable angina and reduce risk of angina and myocardial infarction effectively.3. 6-month walking experiment can improve the life quality of patients with stable angina pectoris and help the recovery of patients.
