Clinical Study On Comminuted Scapula Fractures With Locking Reconstruction Plate Treatment

Objective: Based on clinical observation of the locking reconstruction plate t- reatment of comminuted scapula fractures, to investigate the early diagnosis,the class- ification, Surgical indications, surgical approach, fixed form, clinical effect, and to pr- ovide the proofs to guide the diagnosis and treatment in clinic practice.Methods: The study group includes 25 cases for comminuted scapula fractur- es, views of X—ray and 3—dimensional CT image reconstruction were used to conf- rm their injures before surgery. And to classify fractures, clear operation testify, exclu- de operative taboo,surgery,active early postoperative functional exercise, regular f- ollow-up,evaluate the curative effect of locking reconstruction plate fixation in treat- ment of comminuted fractures of the scapula.Results: The 25 cases were followed up. All got bony healing and a good fu- nctional activity of limb activity. According to the Hardegger evaluation, all cases we- re divided into 4 groups, excellent cases, good cases, fair cases and poor cases, there were 17 excellent cases, 6 good cases, 2 fair cases, and not have poor cases. The exce- llent and good rate is 92%.Conclusion: Three—dimensional CT reconstruction may help to make the d- iagnosis, to understand the fracture patterns and the degree of displacement, and choo- se the fitting treatment. The Curative effect of the locking reconstruction plate treatm- ent of comminuted scapula fractures are assured. It is in favour of shoulder joint func- tion recovery and reducing the incidence of sequelae.
