PARTâ… : Diagnostic test of screening breast cancer by Breast Blood Oxygen Functional Image TechnologyObjective :To investigate the clinical value of screening breast cancer by the breast blood oxygen functional image technology (BBOFIT) .Methods : The treatment of two hundred and twenty-eight cases with breast tumor through clinic breast examination, imaging examination and blood oxygen function image detection. Needle aspiration biopsy, surgical treatment or clinic observation was made according to each diagnosis. Data about the pathological results and clinical follow-up were collected to make the final diagnosis. The sensitivity, specificity and other indicators of BBOFIT were analyzed. Results:Of the two hundred and twenty-eight cases with breast tumor, one hundred and ninety-two patient were diagnosed with benign tumor or breast hyperplasia in term of clinics and pathology, and thirty-six cases with breast cancer. The results of examining thirty-one cases with breast cancer and one hundred and eighty-one cases with benign tumor or breast hyperplasia patients by BBOFIT were consistent with the pathologic and clinical diagnosis, with the accuracy rate(Ac), sensitivity (Sen), specificity (Spe),false positive rate, false negative rate, positive predictive value(+PV), negative predictive value(-PV), positive likelihood ratio(+LR) and negative likelihood ratio (-LR) is 92.98%,86.11%,94.27%, 26.19%,2.68%,73.80%, 97.31%,15.02 and 0.07, respectively. The Youden index is 0. 8038. Conclusion:The research results show that BBOFIT in breast cancer screening has a high diagnostic value, and can be used as breast cancer screening examination methods.PARTâ…¡: Therapeutic effect evaluation test of breast cancer neoadjuvant chemotherapyObjective :To investigate the clinical application value of BBOFIT in the evaluation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy response. Methods :Before diagnosis and after three courses of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, the breast blood oxygen function of thirty-eight patients with breast cancer was detected and the clinical effects were evaluated. At the same time clinical effects were also evaluated by way of palpation and imaging examination under the RECIST criteria. Then, those two evaluation methods were compared and a statistical analysis was made. Results : Of thirty-eight cases with breast cancer, thirty-one were significantly effective in terms of treatment, including twenty-nine evaluated effective by BBOFIT. Seven cases were unfruitful, however, as four cases were not markedly effective in response to the BBOFIT. In BBOFIT evaluation, blood value changes and oxygen value change were tested in Wilcoxon sign rank respectively, and both P < 0.05.In comparison of the performance of each method between BBOFIT evaluation and clinical effective evaluation using McNemer test, result shows P>0.05 and can be assumed that there is no significant difference in efficacy between the two methods. Conclusion : BBOFIT can effectively evaluate the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer, and it is a useful complement of current clinical response evaluation methods.
