Thyroid disease is a common and multiple clinical endocrine diseases, radioactive 131I treatment of hyperthyroidism with medication as a simple, noninvasive, high curative rate unique advantage, has been widely used in clinical treatment of thyroid diseases. 131I emissionsβ-ray andγ-rays in different energy,γ-rays can penetrate patient body bring radiation exposure on the surrounding environment and personnel. As economic and technological development, optimization of radiation protection is particularly important, through the optimization of radiation protection research can low down radiation health hazards of radiation to a reasonable minimum. Paper focuses on research of radioactive 131I radiation dose and radiation risk of patient,medical staff, family members and the public treatment arising from hyperthyroidism patients, and targeted analysis of the optimal protective measuresWe systematically measured thyroid dose rate position changes with time of several hyperthyroidism patients'who took radiological methods of treatment with 131I. We have studied the metabolism regularity and the change of radioactive iodine uptake rate of thyroid after patients took radioactive 131I. The results show that radiation iodine uptake rate within 24 hours showed an increasing trend; there are some patients show early peak to 4 hours. Based on measurement of iodine uptake rate, we calculated the conversion rate of iodine uptake, explained the conversion rate of iodine uptake and effective half-life shows negative correlation. Environmental dose rate was measured and we estimated families and medical staff dose and the average annual dose from external exposure.Several hyperthyroidism patients who treated by 131I were systematically measured and obtain thyroid, stomach, liver and kidneys and other organs air dose rate of the body surface area, on the front work we analysis of 131I metabolism trends in these four organs and tissues. Radiation dose of main organs and tissue was estimated after patients treated with radioactive 131I. Based on thyroid volume evolution model,we calculated quality of thyroid after patients treatment. We systematically collected several patients'thyroid hormone date levels of T3, T4, FT3, FT4 after treatment in 5 months change over time. Evolutionary dynamic model of hormones of radioactive treated hyperthyroidism was established, which can give a better reflect the trend of thyroid hormones.Main organs and tissues exposed radiation dosage were gained after patients took drug 131I. We estimate main organs and tissues of patients'carcinogenic risk and obtain a function about dose and risk, and we further estimate the cancer risk of family members, medical staff. Close-γdose rate in the peripheral change with distance and time has been systematically measured after patients took 131I radiopharmaceuticals. Protections for 131I therapy during the treatment also have been studied. These practical measures and methods can better reduce exposure radiation suffered by medical staff, family members of patients and the public.
