Objective: A systematic review of the published RCTs was used to compare thesuccess rates of remnant thyroid tissue ablation using low dose (approximately30mCi)with high dose (approximately100mCi). Methods: CNKI(1986~2012)、Wanfangdata(1986~2012)、VIP(1989~2012)、Cochran liberty、OVID(1986~2012)、Pubmed(1986~2012)、EBSCO(1986~2012)、EMBASE(1986~2012)、Springer Link(1986~2012)、Science Direct(1986~2012) were searched for all the RCT about lowversus high radioiodine dose in postoperative ablation of the thyroid remnant indifferentiated thyroid cancer. Results:6RCTs were included. There is no statisticalsignificance in the ablation success rate during low and high radioiodine dose[OR=0.78,95%CI[0.58,1.06],P=0.11].The adverse effects of dry eyes were no statistical significancebe ween the two groups[OR=0.77,95%CI(0.53,1.12),P=0.18]. Dry mouth was nostatistical significance during the two groups[OR=0.69,95%CI(0.47,1.01),P=0.06].Nausea has statistical significance during of the two group. The incident rate in low dose islower than that in high dose[OR=0.32,95%CI(0.18,0.55),P<0.0001].The incident rate ofpain in the neck in low dose is lower than that in high dose[OR=0.49,95%CI(0.31,0.78),P=0.003]. conclusion: During postoperative ablation of the thyroid remnantin differentiated thyroid cancer, low radioiodine dose is worth spreading.
