PurposeBy comparing in the treatment of proximal humerus fractures in minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis techniques, the combination of proximal humeral locking plate with simple open reduction and internal fixation using LPHP two methods practical advantages and disadvantages of surgical operation and postoperative clinical response, to guide future clinical application.MethodsSelect cases met the inclusion criteria,38 cases were randomly divided into two groups, A Group:MIPPO techniques, the LPHP group, B group:use of LPHP traditional incision group; in the perioperative period were recorded operative time, blood loss, incision length and surgery After 1 month,3 months,1 year Neer shoulder function score; in order to assess the advantages and disadvantages of surgical operations, and efficacy. All data used SPSS 16.0 for windows statistical package for statistical analysis.ResultsAll data were statistically significant. For statistical analysis, that:1. A group of operative time was longger than the B group;2. A group of bleeding was significantly less than the B group;3. A group of surgical incision significantly smaller than B;4. After a month Neer score A group was better than B;5. After 3 months and one year Neer score was no significant difference between the two groups;6. The two groups were not neurological, vascular injuries; no plate fracture, and humeral head necrosis.ConclusionMIPPO techniques, the combination of LPHP treatment of proximal humerus fractures, trauma, non-extensive periosteal stripping, avoiding the destruction of genetically related transport, in line with the principles of biological fixation, healing rate, less blood loss, surgical safety, post-operative complications the advantages of a small, recent curative effect is a worthy extension of the clinical treatment.
