Clinical Evaluation Of The Treatment Of Abduction Humerus Surgical Neck Fracture By Wumen Medical Technique Reduction And External Fixation With Shaping Splint

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Wumen medical school manual reduction combined with plastic splint external fixation and open reduction and internal fixation with Lockingproximalhumerusplate and LPHP in the treatment of abduction surgical neck fracture of humerus.METHODS:In this study,outpatient,emergency and inpatient cases in Suzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2018 to January 2021 were selected and divided into the treatment group(n=27)and the control group(n=23).Constant-Murley score,excellent fracture reduction criteria,clinical healing effect and healing time were recorded and collected.Data processing software was used for comparison to e-valuate the therapeutic effect.RESULTS:All 50 patients with malleable surgical neck fractures of the humerus were effectively followed up with a follow-up interval of 1 to 14 months,with an average of 13 months.The specific observation results were as follows:(1)Evaluation of fracture end reduction after treatment:after treatment,LPHP internal fixation group was superior to manual reduction group(P=0.031<0.05);(2)Evaluation of fracture pain after treatment:after treatment,manual reduction group was superior to LPHP internal fixation group(P=0.017<0.05);(3)Evaluation of average fracture healing time after treatment:manual reduction group was superior to LPHP internal fixation group(P=0.033<0.05);(4)Overall efficacy:The evaluation of shoulder joint function was not significantly different between the two groups,with no statistical significance,but the excellent and good rates of manual reduction and LPHP internal fixation group were 85.19%and 82.61%,respectively,so the manual reduction group was generally better than LPHP internal fixation group.Conclusion:For the treatment of abduction surgical neck fracture of humerus,both treatment methods can play a role in relieving postoperative pain,ensuring the healing of fracture end and restoring the function of humerus,while Wumen medical school manipulation can cleverly correct the angulation and overlapping displacement of fracture end,achieve anatomical reduction,molding splint fixation is clinically simple and reliable,so Wumen medical school manipulation reduction and molding splint external fixation is an effective,safe and feasible treatment.
