Clinical Research Of External Application Of FUKANG Chinese Crude Drug Towelettes For Management Of Infected Wounds

Objective:The objective of the research is to observe the effect of FUKANG Chinese Crude Drug Towelettes for management of infected wounds through clinical experiment,thereby detecting effective method for management of infected wounds.Method:All of the sixty patients observed in this research were from the departments of ostemyelitis and microsurgery in the period from Octomber,2008 to december,2009, among whom the number of male was 37 and female was 23;the age of these patients was from 18 to 50.These patients were devided at random into the treated group and the contrast group,the number of each group was 30 cases.The age,sexuality,pathogenesis,invasional part and the area of wound surface of them had no significant deviation.After debridement, the treated group used FUKANG Chinese Crude Drug Towelettes to change dressings and the contrast group used nitrofural gauze to change dressings.Compare respectively the quantity of secretion,growth condition of granulation tissue,outcome of germiculture and histology observation,the cure rate of wound surfaces.Observing the ensemble effect after four weeks.Results:The comparison of ensemble effect of the two groups:The cure rate of the treated group was 60.00%, the effectual rate was 96.67%; The cure rate of the constrast group was 40.00%, effectual rate was 76.67%,the clinical effect of the two groups had significant difference through the experiment of Mann-whitney U(P＜0.05). (2) The comparison of cure rate of the two groups had significant difference(P＜0.05), the treated group was superor to the contrast group. (3) The comparison of the outcome of germiculture,the colony count of the two groups had no significant difference. (4) The comparison of growth condition of granulation tissue had significant difference,the treated group was superor to the contrast group. (5) From the quantity of secretion,the treated group made it increase relatively,keeping wound surface moistened. (6) From the comparison of outcome of histology observation, the fibroblasts of the treated group proliferated more quickly, the volume was larger, the numbr of blood capillary was larger,and the two groups had significant difference.Conclusions:FUKANG Chinese Crude Drug Towelettes could improve wound's blood circulation,advance granulation's growth,eliminate inflammation and disinfect,create moistening healing surroundings,strenthen the immunological function of the wound surface,thus accelerating infected wound's healing.
