Clinical Observation Of Triple-therapy By "Plaster Of Expelling Stagnation Of Lower Abdomen" Combining With Enema And Taking Decoction Of Chinese Medicine For Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease Belonging To The Type Of Stagnation Of Qi And Blood

[Objective]Taking traditional Chinese medicine, enema and external application with xiaozheng powders are triple-therapy for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease in Affiliated Hospital of Hu Bei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and it has good effect. But, the use of xiaozheng powders is too inconvenient to popularize. The study tends to use self-made external medicated plaster with Chinese medicine named "plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen" and enema as well as taking decoction of Chinese medicine to cure chronic pelvic inflammatory disease belonging to the type of stagnation of Qi and blood. By the comparison of clinical efficiency, evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine symptom efficiency, type-B ultrasonic of pelvic, ESR, CA125and so on to observe the clinical efficiency, and compare with taking traditional Chinese medicine, enema and external application with xiaozheng powders, in order to research whether it could replace the xiaozheng powders to cure chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.[Method] Use cataplasma to make plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen and choose 40 cases of patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease belonging to the type of stagnation of Qi and blood from out-patient clinic of Affiliated Hospital of Hu Bei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Every patient takes the same decoction of traditional Chinese medicine and edema. The treat group, with 20cases, take triple-therapy by taking decoction of traditional Chinese medicine, edema and external plaster of plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen while the control group, with 20cases, taking triple-therapy by taking decoction of traditional Chinese medicine, edema and external application with xiaozheng powders.2o days are a curial period, and 3periods in all. Every group has 60 menstrual cycles. Observe the changes of clinical symptoms, signs, type-B ultrasonic of pelvic, ESR and CA125 after every period as well as relapse incidence when stop taking medicine after 3months.[Result]1.The synthetically effective rates of treat group and control group are 80% and 85% separately after one period and both are 90% after two periods and both are 95% after three periods. There are no significant differences between two groups no matter after one period, two periods or three periods. It shows that both of them can improve symptom of traditional Chinese medicine and synthetically curative effect. There is no significant difference.2. On the condition of type-B ultrasonic improvement, the two groups have significant differences which show that plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen has better effect than xiaozheng powders on improving index of morphology. 3. The level of ESR and CA125 are both lower after treatment in two groups and there is no significant difference between two groups which shows that plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen and xiaozheng powders have the same function on improving index of human body blood rheology when both combine with taking decoction of traditional Chinese medicine and edema.4. There is no significant difference between two groups on relapse incidence when stop taking medicine after 3months.[Conclusion]Plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen is convenient for use. It has proper viscosity and good cohesion with little residue on skin. It can be kept for a long time which is good for long use without allergic phenomenon. The triple-therapy by plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen combining with taking decoction of traditional Chinese medicine and edema can removing or improving the clinical symptom and sign for the patients of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. The cure effect is equivalent to xiaozheng powders, but as it's more convenient for use, it' s more popular even able to replace xiaozheng powders. The deficiencies are that sample is too small and observation period is short which need to be designed with stricter scheme. At the same time, dosage form of plaster of expelling stagnation of lower abdomen is not mature and it needs further research to be produced on a large scale.
