The Relation Of Left Ventricular Hypertrephy With C Reactive Protein And 8-iso-PGF_2a In Essential Hypertension

Objectives:To observe the variation of the concentrations of Isoprostanes (8-iso-PGF2a) and high-sensitive C reactive protein (hs-CRP), and to explore the relation of left ventricular Hypertrephy with them in the patients with essential hypertension(EH), 147 patients with EH were studied.Methods:According to LVMI,147 patients with EH were divided into two groups,including left ventricular hypertrophy group(LVH)and non left ventricular hypertrophy group(NLVH),then they were further divided into three subgroups by the blood pressure classification criterion, at the same time, 30 normal subjects were selected as control group.In all subjects,the plama concentration of 8-iso-PGF2a were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),the concentration of CRP were detected by indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(indirect ELISA),and the mean arterial pressure(MAP)was measured. all the measured value were analyzed by using the 13.0 SPSS software.Results:1.The concentration of hs-CRP (P<0.01)and 8-iso-PGF2a (P<0.01) in the patients with LVH were higher than that in control subjects and NLVH patients.The concentration of hs-CRP and 8-iso-PGF2a in three different subgroups with LVH were higher than that in control subjects and NLVH patients in the same blood pressure grade(P<0.05),and inceased along with the blood pressure progression (P<0.05). positive correlation among hs-CRP,8-iso-PGF2aand MAP(P<0.05) were found. 2.The concentration of hs-CRP (P<0.05)and 8-iso-PGF2a (P<0.05)in the NLVH patients were higher compared as control subjects.Though the concentration of hs-CRP and 8-iso-PGF2a were higher in the patients in the three different subgroups with NLVH ,compared as control subjects,no correlation was found among the three different subgroups(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.The concentration of 8-iso-PGF2a were higher in the patients with LVH,it suggests that the test of 8-iso-PGF2a was beneficial for the diagonosis of EH with LVH; 2.The concentration of 8-iso-PGF2a is inceased along with the blood pressure progression in the patients with LVH and has positive correlation with hs-CRP and MAP, so it show that LHV might have relation to chronic low-grade inflammatory state; 3. No correlation is among hs-CRP and MAP in the patients with NLVH, but the concentration of 8-iso-PGF2a were higher.
