The Positive Role Of Balanced Scorecard On Molding Hospital Culture

As a tool of strategic management, balanced scorecard (BSC) can promote the harmonious and efficient development of hospitals, and coordinate the benefit of patients, personnel and the hospital. Once BSC has been used in the hospital, its own characters make a positive role on the hospital culture. In addition, by defining the concept of hospital culture into several ideas, the author found that BSC was also a tool which can quantitatively evaluate hospital culture. Based on the principle of BSC, this article discussed the method and positive effect of BSC on molding hospital culture.At last,this paper analyzed the disadvantage of BSC on molding hospital culture.
