ObjectDetection of TLR4 on monocytes in peripheral blood from coronary heart failure patients. And to observe its change after the intervention of atorvastatin. Investigate the role of to TLR4 in the pathophysiology of heart failure.MethodsThe clinical data of 49 patients and 15 normal adults from August 2009 to January 2010 in YueBei people's Hospital affiliated to Shantou University Medical College were collected and analyzed. 28 patients with heart failure in coronary heart disease from 48-year-old to 78 years (mean 61.52 years), 21 patients with coronary non-heart failure disease aged 49 to 78 years (mean 57.82 -year-old), 15 cases of 37-year-old to 71 years (mean 61.33 years) in normal adults, TLR4 in external peripheral blood monocytes are detected by flow cytometry; patients in heart failure take atorvastatin 20mg for 1 months, then re-detect their TLR4; The data were analyzed by SPSS17.0 software.Resultsâ‘ Compared with the control group, heart failure group TLR4 levels were significantly higher (P <0.01), and c-reactive protein levels were positively correlated, with no significant relationship between serum lipid levels.â‘¡In heart failure patients, the rise in heart function classification, TLR4 expression increased gradually.â‘¢After the intervention of atorvastatin for 1 month, the expression of TLR4 water decreased, and its decline is no significant correlation with the changes of serum lipid. Conclusions1. TLR4 in peripheral blood in heart failure group is significantly higher than the healthy control group and non-heart failure coronary heart disease. And TLR4 is positively correlated with the inflammatory marker C-reactive protein level, but not related with age, sex, height, weight, drug use, blood lipid levels.2. The expression of TLR4 is associated with heart failure in coronary heart disease and positively correlated with the severity .3. Atorvastatin decreased the expression of TLR4 after the intervention, suggesting that the treatment of heart failure in coronary heart disease should be emphasized that the role of statins.
