Objective To investigate the risk factors of portal vein thrombosis in patients of hepatic cirrhosis complicating portal hypertension postoperation. Methods Clinical data of 183patients with portal hypertension in liver cirrhosis who had operation were reviewed fromJanuary,2005to February, 2010 in The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University. The data of risk factors which may leding to the portal vein thrombosis were analyzed byχ~2 and binary regression .Results Logistic regression model(χ~2=105.891,P=0.000).The order of the importance of each factor was the increase of the platlat, having ascites, the increase of the D-dimer, the increase of the width of spleen vein, the increase of the width of portal vein, the Child-Pugh classfication of liver function, and Wald value was16.827,14.815,13.506,9.282,8.665,4.196;The odds ratio(OR) was 2.236,2.056,1.901, 1.581,1.342,1.274.Conclusion The increase of the platlat, having ascites, the increase of the D-dimer, the increase of the width of spleen vein, the increase of the width of portal vein, the Child-Pugh classfication of liver function are risk factors of portal vein thrombosis after operation in the patients of cirrhosis complicating portal hypertension. It is necessary to call for timely intervention treatment of these patients with related risk factors.
