| Because of the abuse of antibacterials, the phenomenon of drug tolerance have been a problem in the way of clinic cure. To have some new antibiotics is so important now. In this study, we choice to systematically investigate the chemical constituents from Acalypha australis L and Trifolium repens L. and their bioactivity. This study established the fundament of the study of A. australis L. and T. repens L. for their development as a medicine, and these results offered some scientific data which was helpful for them to be developed as a drug in the future.1. At the basic of this study ten compounds have been isolated from A. australis L. by the way of column chromatography. Both of them have been identified by the way of NMR,MS,IR,named: (1)β-sitosterol, (2) daucosterol, (3) betulic acid, (4) oleanolic acid, (5) 3,4-dihydroxy methyl benzoate, (6) p-hydroxybenzoic acid, (7) epifriedelinol, (8) friedelin, (9)β-amyrin, (10) octadecylic acid glyceride. Betulic acid, 3, 4-dihydroxy methyl benzoate, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, friedelin and octadecylic acid glyceride were isolated from Acalypha australis L for the first time.2. For the study on the chemical compositions of the volatile oils from the fresh flowers of T. repens L. from Guizhou Province, we used different ways such as steam distillation and simultaneous steam distillation extraction. The chemical components of the above volatile oils were analyzed by GC-MS. The results indicated that thirty-nine components were identified from the volatile oils extracted by the way of simultaneous steam distillation extraction, and twenty-three components were identified from volatile oils extracted by the way of steam distillation. From these results, we get three main and common components from the two extraction ways, palmitic acid, 6, 10, 14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone and phytol, and the others were quite different from each other. Through the analysis, we found T. repens L. have large 1-octene-2-itol and 6,10,14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone, both they are have the activity to inhibit bacterium, oleum lini acid could inhibit the express of COX-2, it have the effect of anti-inflammatory and analgesic. And most of other compounds still have a lot of bio-activity. We found the oils shold be one of the useful parts to cure tuberculosis. Meanwhile, we still found extraction process might be one of the important factors that caused the differences in chemical components of the oils. The total ions chromatogram could be used as the basis for quality control for the volatile oils from T. repens L. In addition, more attentions should be paid to the origin of T. repens L. which could be a main factor to be considered by users.3. Moreover, the above ten compounds isolated from A. australis L. have been tested for their anti-bacterium activity in the lab, and the results showed that 3, 4-dihydroxy methyl benzoate, p-hydroxybenzoic acid and friedelin have the antibacterial activity in vivo, and depressant effect on Bacillus tuberculosis. |
