Objective:Anovulatory is a common kind of infertility in women, and it accounts for about 20%~40% of infertility. Because of its bad affection to society and families, it has become a essentially medical and social problem. The works aiming to studying the clinical efficacy of the method of Tonify the Kidney and Regulate the period of Menses(TKRPM) for infertility, consisted of literature overviewed by the references about infertility and clinical study of TKRPM, combined with modern medicine.Method:The programme of clinical study is designed into two groups. In TCM treated group 20 patients were treated by the method of TKRPM, in another 20 patients were treated by TCM combined with morden medicine. Three months made up one therapeutic course. As the same as, syndromes, basic body temperature, results of ovulation rate and hormone in serum were observed. The Effects found were divided into cured, markedly effective, effective, ineffective. Results:Traditional Chinese medicine treatment group by the kidney and regulating treatment of 20 patients with TCM clinical recovery 6,6 cases were markedly effective in 7 cases, ineffective in 1 case, the effective rate was 95%,30% pregnancy rate, ovulation rate of 53.3% basal body temperature up to 80% of the bipolar type, of which 60% of typical bipolar. Chinese and western medicine group of 20 patients TCM clinical recovery in 7 cases,8 cases were markedly effective in 5 cases, invalid 0, the effective rate was 100%,35% pregnancy rate, ovulation rate of 61.7%, basal body temperature of 90 bipolar%, of which 70% of typical bipolar. Two groups of symptoms and signs after treatment to quantify the situation of follicular development, endometrial thickness before treatment was significantly higher than improved. Conclusion:The treatment of kidney deficiency in Western Anovulatory infertility, western medicine can promote ovulation and improve the endocrine environment, however, it was reported ovulation on luteal function after ovulation, endometrial receptivity and embryo quality and all have adverse effects thus affecting the embryo implantation rate and pregnancy rate. The method of Tonify the Kidney and Regulate the period of Menses adjusted by regulating the kidney-Tiangui-Chong and Ren-uterine axis, a fundamental improvement in patients with kidney constitution, a combination of both of them, learn from each other, synergies, they can shorten the treatment time to make up traditional Chinese medicine alone markedly slow enough, the other through the traditional Chinese medicine can improve the conditioning of endometrial receptivity and thus compensate for the inadequacies of western medicine.
