In the continuing studies on the compounds having new bioactivities , we investigated the mangrove plant Pandanus tectorius and the secondary metalbolites of marine fungus ZT6-11.Twtenty-one compounds were isolated from Pandanus tectotius and marine fungus ZT6-11 by repeated column chromatography (CC) on silica gel, preparative thin layer chromatography (PTLC), Sephadex LH-20 and recrystallization. Sixteen structures of these were elucidated by means of spectroscopic methods including 1H NMR,13C NMR,DEPT,1H-1H COSY,HSQC,HMBC,IR,MS,UV etal.Sixteen compounds were isolated from the Mangrove plant Pandanus tectotius collected from Hainan Province of China. Including a fatty compound Cetearyl Alcohol (F12). Two ester compounds glycerol trioleate (F11), Di-iso-butyl phthalate (F13), eight steroid compounds, Cholest-4-en-3-one( F1), Ergosterol peroxide (F2), 24-methylchol- esterol (F3), (24R)-ergosta-4,7,22-triene-3-one (F5), cholesterin (F6),β-sitostenone (F7) Daucosterol (F8),β- sitosterin (F9). A phenols compound, coniferaldehyde (F10). A terpenoid compound, lupeol( F4). Ten of the compounds were first obtained from this species. Three compounds were not defined.Five compounds were isolated from the zymotic fuluid of marine fungus ZT6-11. Three of them were defined as dulcitol (Z1), 7-hydroxy-2H-1-Benzo- pyran-2,4(3H)-dione (Z2), glycerol trioleate (Z3). The structure of Z4 and Z5 was not defined.
