Northern Qi which was actually a local regime ruled by Xianbei people only exsited for 28 years. In spite of the short exsitance, the six emporers of Northern Qi were all immeasurably dissolute and fond of songs and dances. It is no wonder that Northern Qi was also named the Beast Dynasty.
