Nevertheless, it was very difficult to explain specific musical emotions, because of composer's personal experience of creating process not being copied. Based on the specificity of the music expression, this article would explore the technique of valence or pleasantness in Chopin's music works.Generally speaking, melody, harmony and rhythm are both the the primary elements of music and the basic methods of musical expression. In order to give a reference of composing, perfoming and appreciating, this study would probe into the technique of valence or pleasantness in Chopin's music works by the music analysis, combining with the related theories of synesthesia and the composing background.
