Study On Religion's Further Adaption To Socialist Society

This paper discusses the religion's adaption to socialist society from four aspects:the theoretical basis of the adaption; the historical basis of it; religion reform is the key to religion's adaption to socialist society; the great practice of the religion's adaption to socialist society. Each part of them, from different angles, thoroughly analyzes that religious and social development are compatible. Religion is compatible with socialist society, and can further adapt to it.The theoretical content and actual value of the paper is through the experience to reveal that religion of our country can adapt to socialist society. In general, it implements the concept of religious theory and the Party's religious policies. The Party's basic principle on religious persons is:" Unit and cooperate politically, respect each other's beliefs," which is the harmonious concept of "seek common ground and reverse the differences" in traditional Chinese culture. The Party's religious policy is:"Comprehensively implement the Party's policy of religious freedom, manage religious affairs according to law, adhere to the principles of independence and self, and actively guide religions to adapt to socialist society." So, in order to make religion further adapt to our socialist society, scientific concept of development must be used to create new forms and methods, to add new content to implement the Party's religious theory and policies. In my opinion, the current important job is:religious workers should know that the majority of religious people are the positive force to build socialism with Chinese characteristics, recognize that religion contains the outstanding heritage in ideological, moral, and cultural aspects, religion is "the mother of Charity ". Religious circles is" try to make explanations on religious doctrine, which should comply with the requirements of social progress; to regulate thoughts and behaviors which is conducive to harmony doctrine and to promote them, while eliminate those that are not conducive to harmonious social development factors arise. "Religious people can make contributions to build socialist harmonious society in both thoughts and practice aspects. The masses of believers and non-believers can unite the efforts of building a socialist harmonious society.
