In the modern times of Erhu compositions, the second Erhu concerto"Zhuimeng Jinghua"is regarded as a good masterpieces. Guan Naizhong who composed this works was commissioned by the China National Symphony Orchestra. There are four movements, titled respectively"Vigor in the Spring","Summer Night","Gold Autumn", and"New Year's Eve", which vividly presents the childhood memories of the old Beijing in front of people.The materials of this works are artful and accurate, which integrate some pure music elements of old Beijing such as the drum song of Peking,story-telling to musical accompaniment and Peking opera into the works. The works not only develops the characters of Erhu's timbre, but also reflects its techniques, which contains the Chinese musical style and western style.From the view of players, the paper tries to explore the development direction of Erhu composition through understand and analysis of the works itself and the experience of playing.
