Different from pre Han—Wei and six dynasties, in which Jing learning is the most popular academy,The academy in Han—Wei and six dynasties showed a new characteristic, represent which is prospering in Historiography and historical Notation. The historical Notation is far different from Jing notation in Han-Wei and six dynasties.The Pre Qin dynasty is the Birth of the Notation in all academic fields. Many documents, conserved to nowadays, recorded the history of ancient China. However, when these words lasted to Eastern Zhou Dynasty, they could not be understood by people in that period. Many Teachers, Confucius for instance, translated these words for their students to learn, which could be the oldest Notation. They were all Jing notations, no matter what they annotated, Yi Jing, or Chun Qiu San Zhuan, were all serving for the learning of Jing academy.Inheriting Jing academy and notations from Pre Qin Dynasty, the academy continued to develop. Scholars converted those ancient literatures in understand of their own, which made Jing academy to many different group. These notations affected the new born historical notations, and made historical notations involved lots of characteristics, which were similar to Jing notations. For instance, historical notations, explanation for meaning and pronunciation of words, institution and tales, were all similar to Jing notations.Historical notations in Han-Wei and six dynasties involved both features existed in Jing and historical notations, because historical notations were cradling in Jing notations. On the other hand, historiography were independent from Jing academy, which leaded to new particularities of historical notations. Historical notations were produced by authors, while they were transcribing other authors'historical books, and added in their own view. That included supplement, manuscript, and commentary of historical events, and the latter two reflected the academic idea of those notational authors.It was not occasional that these unique characteristics of historical notations emerged numerously in Han-Wei and six dynasties. On one hand, historical notations separated from Jing notations, which means historiography can grow independently, and private historical works was very popular in this time, the booming of historical notations depended on the prosperity of historical literary. On the other hand, the values and standard, established by Confucians, went through being authoritatived to being questioned, were no longer the only standard of academy. Scholars now had vast of selections to research their objective, which affected the academic environment, push the historical notations to diversification.Historical notations contain a lot facility to bibliography, in which include saving, collating, and collecting document. These advantages provide material to arranging of document, standard of historical notations in the later age.
