Ni Yide, with "love the motherland" as a prerequisite , with "knowledge and culture" as support, with "tradition of the nation" as a base, with "innovative spirit" as a driving force, formed much art educational thoughts ,which includes"combine Chinese and western cultures in nation; learn the tradition in creation; emphases on foundation in innovation; pay attention to the theory in the sketching; respect individuality in teaching based on students'aptitude, arts for art's sake and arts for people's sake etc".
