In today's society value of development, advocate "people-oriented", so the human could be learned by more and more scholars' attention. Floyd as the founder of psychoanalysis theory explains the human study by its unique angle of view, providing more source material for us who want to research humanism. The thesis has carried out all-round expounding by the fact through four parts to Floyd's human study thought.The first part is a brief introduction of Floyd. Firstly, through the introduction of Freud to understand Freud humanistic thoughts and then define expatiates the background and significance; Secondly, the current status of related researches both home and abroad are made comments, and sort out the ideas of this study.The second part analyze the Freudian theoretical source of human thought, and think about the Freudian ideas of the social and historical, and sort out the Freudian theory of human development course.The third part constructs Floyd's humanism theory from four levels with a core concept of natural. Firstly, the essence of man is a kind of desire and satisfied in order to realize the system of mental activity. Secondly, sexual instinct is the existence of human need, but it is not the only one, due to the effect of libido, human desire in the continuous development, and this also led to the infinite potential of human. Thirdly, in order satisfy the desires of the expansion, human itself is also being in constant development, and finally learned to use the rationality to control instinct. Fourthly, because of the development of the social, human beings to constantly improve themselves not only with religion but also the development of a civilization.The fourth part makes a comment on Floyd's theory based on Marxist philosophy. His concern on humans is in the real society actuality and feasibility, because of this he found some shortcomings of Western societies. So his though has a certain reality. But he give too much attention to the unconscious and natural's function to human, then ignore the rationality and human social attribute, therefore his humanistic thoughts with historical limitations.
