Ontology Based Knowledge Representation

This paper discusses the discipline system of philosophical origin of ontology and ontology development course, and deals with the relevant theory of various ontology aspects. Then, based on the reality of ontological philosophy value, the theoretical connotation and application are further analyzed and discussed.As an methodology from ontological philosophy, the ontology theory in information science field has important value and meaning. Based on the demand of knowledge engineering and knowledge management, this paper provides a research method by combining ontology theory system, and uses this method to analyze the corresponding relationship of human knowledge system and ontology system. By constructing the corresponding ontology conceptual model of human knowledge domain, we can gradually setup effective ontology knowledge repository, and it's helpful for us to provide a new solution for knowledge representation, knowledge management, knowledge acquisition and retrieval, etc.Along with the development of the Internet, ontology theory is becoming more and more important for semantic Web field. By adoption of the ontology knowledge repository and related form semantic and reasoning theory, ontology can be used to analyze and treat with the"massive information"conundrum in the modern society. Thus it helps ontology application and promotion in the field of knowledge expression, and provides us new references and new methods upon that. Ontology language and related applications brings its practicality to our research work, and provides us the basic development tools and application scenarios, which further contributes the development in the new field.As a practical result of ontology research, this paper also provides a kind of calculation method upon natural language and formal semantic. This method is mainly used for expression of natural language and formal logic, and provides a feasible way on the creation and mapping of ontology repository.Finally, the various application prospects of ontology in the future are discussed.
