Prototypical Research On The "Number" Of Miao's Ancient Songs In Qiandongnan

The paper focuses on the cultural implications and prototypes of numbers, which appear frequently and repeatedly in Qiangdongnan Miao's Anciemt Songs as a special image through making comparisons to Han's number culture and Western number culture. It can further the understanding of numbers'value and function in Miao's primitive culture.For a long time, Miao people's Ancient Song have been explored in the fields of literature, philosophy and sciology. Researches on the culture of number have not been seen till now. This paper aims mainly to analyze Miao's Ancient Songs from four aspects. The preface introduces Miao's Ancient Song and its current researches; The second part describes the relationship between number and Miao's Ancient Song; The third part elaborates its cultural implications and prototypes. The fourth part is the comparative study, making a comparison with Han's number culture and Western number culture and make a better understanding of it.For the conclusion part:illustrate its application in Miao's cultural activities by citing examples and further comfirm the values and prospects of the researches.
